Dr. Vinay Shekhar is a distinguished physician and diabetologist with over three decades of experience in internal medicine, teaching, and clinical practice. He completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Osmania Medical College and is a Fellow of the Indian College of Physicians (FICP).
Currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, Dr.Vinay Shekhar has previously held several key positions, including Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine at Gandhi Medical College & Hospital and Deputy Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital.
He has made significant contributions to medical education and healthcare administration, earning the Best Teacher Award (2018–2019) from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. He has also served as Treasurer for the National APICON 2016 and Nodal Officer for the ART Centre at Gandhi Medical College.
